Manuel Macias
As an ex-U.S. Marine, Manuel is known for teaching a dynamic, light-hearted Vinyasa flow, grounded in intelligent sequencing with steady attention to breath and energetic alignment.
Manuel's approach to teaching is exploratory and experiential. His classes incorporate core work, heat-building movement, deep stretch sequences, foundation (hand/foot) placement, and moving music. He encourages his students to practice mindfulness—compassionately observing and embodying yourself as you are in this moment, this pose, this breath.
Manuel continues to be inspired by the teachings of Larry Schultz, Katie Cariffe, Marie Hajjar of “Its Yoga” San Francisco and so many fellow students that inspire and influence him all the time.
“Expect modifications, but expect to grow and learn from these modifications. Live in the moment, and always practice at your own pace”
